The Rules That Protect The Fishing

Rules get a bad reputation.

But on a lake like Majestic Pool, they’re not there to restrict you.

They’re there to protect:

• The fish

• The lake

• The experience for every angler

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

• Barbed hooks only

• No leadcore or leaders

• Minimum 12lb main line

• No artificial baits (foam, plastic, cork etc.)

• No zig rigs

• No maggots, nuts, peas or beans

• Maximum of three rods

• Fish only from marked swims

Fish care is also taken seriously:

• Mats, nets and slings are provided

• All litter must be taken home

• No unauthorised visitors

These rules aren’t random.

They’re what keep the stock in good condition.They’re what keep the lake consistent.They’re what make the fishing better over time.

A well-run fishery doesn’t happen by accident.
