Majestic Pool is a well-established carp fishery based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, known for offering anglers a more considered and enjoyable way to fish. Over time, it has built a reputation not just for the quality of its stock, but for the overall feel of the place. This is not a venue where anglers are packed in or pushed through quickly. It is a lake where the experience is just as important as the result.
From the moment you arrive, there is a noticeable difference in how the fishery is set up. The swims are positioned to give anglers proper water in front of them, the surroundings feel calm rather than busy, and the pace of the session naturally slows down. That is not by accident. It is the result of decisions made to prioritise space, comfort and the quality of fishing over simply filling the lake.
Looking After The Lake And Its Stock
The stock is one of the defining features of Majestic Pool, and it is treated accordingly. With over 130 carp in the lake, including a confirmed 24 30's and a number of fish above 40lb
Fish care is not an afterthought. It is built into how the fishery operates. Equipment such as unhooking mats, landing nets and slings are provided to ensure fish are handled correctly, and rules are in place to protect both the stock and the lake itself. These standards are not there to restrict anglers, but to preserve what makes the fishery worth visiting in the first place.
A well-looked-after stock does not just benefit the fish. It improves the quality of the fishing, the consistency of captures and the overall confidence anglers have when they arrive at the lake.
Bookings, Pricing & Fishery Rules
•Annual membership-£30 1st Jan -31st Dec
•24 hour session- £27.50 (12:30pm- 12pm) do not enter the gate before this time.
•Lake exclusive £175 per 24 hours, recommend upto 6 anglers (no membership required)

We ask all anglers new and old to familiarise yourself with the fishery rules below-
Fishery Rules:
•Strictly no looking around without permission, this includes visitors.
•No litter - all litter MUST be taken home
•Barbed hooks only. No barbless hooks to be used
•No leadcore or other kinds of leaders at all
Tubing is recommended
•Unhooking mats, landing nets and slings are provided
• Do not retain fish, you can retain in sling for max 30min. whilst you sort camera, scales etc. regardless of time of day
•Only fish from marked swims
•Minimum 15lb main line
•No peas, beans or nuts to be used
•No maggots to be used
•Three rods can be used at any one time
•No non-fishing guests, except with prior permission
•Bait boats allowed, providing they're used sensibly
•No foam, plastic, cork or other artificial baits of any kind
•No zig rigs to be used at any time
•No fires
•No dogs
•Fishing from marked swims only
•Do not fish over half way, regardless if swim opposite is free
•only one angler in willow or car park at any one time
•If you crack off, rig, marker or spomb please notify us asap. Includes into trees
•No guns of any description

We require minimum 7 days notice to cancel or change and booking.
Anyone found breaking the rules will be asked to leave the lake immediately and may have there memberships cancelled and life time ban.
