A well-established carp water in East Yorkshire
Welcome To Majestic Pool
Majestic Pool is not about overcrowded banks, rushed sessions or gimmicks. It is a well-regarded carp fishery in Beverley built around what anglers actually want: quality fish, well-positioned swims, a lake full of features and enough space to settle in and fish with confidence.
Majestic Pool gives you access to a proven water with serious carp pedigree and the kind of setting that makes every trip feel that bit more worthwhile.

More Than Just A Day Ticket Water
There are plenty of places to cast a line. Fewer waters stay in your mind after you leave. Majestic Pool has earned its name by offering something more memorable: an intimate, well-stocked carp lake in East Yorkshire where the fish, the layout and the atmosphere all work together.
It is the kind of venue where anglers can arrive, get set up properly and enjoy the session without feeling boxed in. That matters. Especially on a water worth fishing carefully.
Quality
Stock
Home to over 130 carp, with a strong head of twenties, a confirmed 24 30's and a number of fish pushing 40lb.
Room To Fish Properly
Although there are eight purpose-built swims around the lake, standard bookings are limited to a maximum of six anglers to keep space and comfort high.
A Lake With
Features
Bars, gravel, silt, weed, spits, reedbeds and overhanging trees give anglers plenty to work with and make the water far more interesting than a flat, simple venue.
Established Reputation
Majestic Pool is a carp lake run by carp anglers with a passion to create the perfect balance of natural and comfortable angling
Fish That Give The Lake Its Reputation
Majestic Pool is known for its stock, and rightly so. The lake is home to over 130 carp. Our stocking program ensures the highest quality of carp that we review every year with new additions added.
We have a confirmed 23 30lb fish and a number of fish pushing the 40lb mark
A Small Lake With Plenty Going On
Majestic Pool is a picturesque three-acre former clay pit with an average depth of around 8ft. The lakebed is made up mainly of silt, but it also holds bars, patches of gravel, weedbeds, spits, reed-lined edges and overhanging trees that create feeding areas, patrol routes and the kind of subtle opportunities anglers love to find.
It is not a water you simply drop onto and expect to fish the same way every time. It offers variety, decision making and plenty of reasons to stay alert. That is exactly what makes it appealing.

Car Park – A popular and productive swim. Fishing across to the trees on the far margin produces well. Some patchy weed.
Fletch’s – A swim with lots of options. The spit to the right, the tree-lined margin and the spit to the left all produce fish, and there's plenty of weed dotted around.
Sainty’s – A consistent open water area with some interesting spots to find and the bar to the right is a known hot spot.
Back Bay –This swims gives access to the margins of the no-fishing bank, a known holding area and patrol route for the fish.
Reedy – Access to the no-fishing bank and some small but productive open water gravel patches amongst the silt.
Inbetween – A consistent open water swim which often produces multiple hits as the fish move through. Zigs are worth a go.
Plateau – Another swim with plenty of options. The fish often pass through this area on their way in and out of Car Park Bay.
Willow – No fishing when Car Park is occupied. Fish are often observed amongst the marginal snags and a stealthy approach is needed.
